Actually I found it under my bed. Several months ago I horrified Nancy by losing her artwork immediately after it arrived and then blaming the disappearance on our overzealous cleaning person, Consuelo. Oh, I am evil to the core. Anyway, I was cleaning up the filth next to my nightstand and thar she blew, the smell of Kordite was in the air. Consuelo, forgive…

Mrs Cheesey Potato lives just across the Impasse from me. This morning she gave me some Mail Art that I had received during my recent absence that would not fit in the Mail Box...and so I will continue with the Collective Thank You.
I will be mailing stuff to y'all when I have raised some money for stamps by disposing of my children. The Pawn Shop wouldn't take them, alas, and so I am forced to sell them. I can offer you a Special Mother's Day Three-for-Two price if anyone is…

On Friday 24th of May 2013 my mother died. So now starts a period of mourning for me and I won't be active here that much for some time. She died peacefully and the day before we were able to say goodbye to here. She was 82 years old. May she rest in peace.

It's so hard to be heartfelt twice in one day but I'll make the effort for my good friend, KDJ. Let's start with the envelope.
Even worse that second hand heartfeltness is rewriting a joke. I am so peeved...He smites brow for emphasis...and continues...It seems likely that "That is a sock" will be found on my tombstone. For the mystified please…

He opened with a song. (Use Bobby Rydell voice here if available) I've got a lotta bloggin' to do. (song ends here) But before I get to that and I hope to this holiday weekend, I want to share a package I received this week from KDJ who is taking a sabbatical from the scene. Among other things, KDJ started the Enchanted with Dave Group so I owe her big…

This arrived as a testament to the downfalls of online communication. Without the tone, inflection, and facial expressions to help us interpret things, it can be very easy for miscommunication to happen. It also gives us a chance to clarify and become closer when we clear it up. So I received this wonderful mail art with Susan's classic/signature style--both psychedelic and straightforward at the same time. yippee!!DKultCA has formed in Berkeley--Thank you!…

...I have been away again, this time for 10 days in Maastricht, the Netherlands, where I had a mini-exhibition of my Aboriginal-type art. (Photos of that follow later). When I got back home last night the mail box was stuffed full of goodies, and I just haven't got the time right now to send everyone an individual thank you, so here is a collective one.
I hope to be able to send all the people below some Mail Art back soon, but I will have to pawn the children so that I can get some…

Everything started last autumn.
I started to join ARTS-IN team for my activities and MERAL, the motivator, told that there was this project of art in MİLANO. It was my first ''THING''... The good thing was that every single art work sent there, was going to be displayed at an art gallery in MİLANO. The place was of ASSOCIAZIONE CIRCUITI DINAMICI... If you google them, you'll see that this is a very active art and design projects association. I love them. They are honest and serius about…

Well...It's been a while that we, four of us, didn't come together at the gallery. We all had our reasons... First of all Türkan's brother, who lives in Izmir, had an operation and Türkan was naturally busy to take care of the patient and the rest of the family. Hilal, who has a very talented son, is always busy, she runs here and there to keep everything in order. She was at the gallery on Tuesday BUT I was not there... I had a ''GIRLS BREKFAST'' at my best friends house, with 5 other…
