I'm based in England, but email me because my address often changes.
I currently make/trade a zine called Cats Teeth - it's diarylike and confessional with the occasional review, snippet of philosophy, or poem. Recurring themes tend to be anarchism, feminism, sexuality, attempts at polyamory, childhood, restlessness. There's usually vintage pictures in there (often nudes) and 'badass' women like Joan Jett, Patti Smith, and Sylvia Plath.
I like to make use of whatever's around me, bones, feathers, bits of lace etc
I also used to teach Philosophy so have bits and bobs of classroom resources and handmade booklets I'm happy to send out. x

Hi, Ele
The artist Jean-Francois Aillet invites you to collect your sample of sand from a moraine, from next to a waterfall or beside a river, along the shore of a lake or a stream, in a desert or on the border of an ocean. One should not, however, send him sand from a construction site. You are asked to document your collection of the material with a photo, taken as you are pouring the sand into a container. For an example, kindly visit his home page at www.aillet.com . English : http://www.aillet.com/traductions/anglais.htm
See you to take part in this international project.

...love of the printed word? Because that sounds familiar, please accept a friendly welcome to The Eternal Network, from a friendly mail artist, living in a friendly country. A perfect start here is mail-art exchange. I would like to be the other end on your very beginning at IUOMA when you decide it’s the right time for you to start doing it. If that’s the case at this time, your envelope should read as follows:
The Celestial Scribe
Caixa Postal, 24827
Curitiba-PR
80510-970
Brazil
II look forward to see your piece in my mailbox. Yes! I will do my homework after receiving yours. That’s a celestial promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Envelope Provider.
Was just about to log off!
Fabbo! This weekish or next weekish is fine-ish.

Hi Ele! Welcome to IUOMA.
I just came across your photos and thought 'yummy, where did these come from?' I'm a big fan of vintage lady imagery, but I don't see many tough chicks like yours!
I'd love it if you sent me some badass chicks mail art, but put your address on the envelope so I can return the favour. Hope to see you in the post!
Vizma
Dear Ele,
Welcome to IUOMA!
It's a great bunch of folks and I hope that you enjoy exchanging Mail Art with us. I'm your Mentor, and if I can help to ease you into IUOMA in any way, then please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to explain what's going on and how IUOMA works.
If you haven't already done so, I suggest you take a look at the 'New to IOUMA' page (4th from the left at the top of the IUOMA home page) where you'll find a 10-point Introductory Guide that should give you an insight as to what is going on.
Would you like to exchange some Mail Art with me? If so, send me something to 18 Mayfields, Upland Rd, Darlington DL3 7TU: I will be there from 20 -30 January. After that, I'll be back home, and my address is 1 Rue de la Vieille Fontaine, F-11130 Sigean, France. I PROMISE to send you something back.
You will need to supply your postal address as part of your Profile Information if you want to get any mail back.
There are a few zines people in IUOMA...and may still be a Zines Group -- check out the list. I have contributed to Jenny Hinchliffe's 'Red Letter Day' zine, and you may want to look her up, too.
I'm a bit intrigued about the confessions that you want to share...do tell more, please!
Hoping you enjoy your IUOMA days..
Regards, Val Herman
