This is getting embarrassing. This is another COLLECTIVE THANK YOU, because...

...I have been away again, this time for 10 days in Maastricht, the Netherlands, where I had a mini-exhibition of my Aboriginal-type art. (Photos of that follow later). When I got back home last night the mail box was stuffed full of goodies, and I just haven't got the time right now to send everyone an individual thank you, so here is a collective one.

I hope to be able to send all the people below some Mail Art back soon, but I will have to pawn the children so that I can get some money for stamps. Any offers?

Anyway, to one and all...Thank you/ Bedankt/ Merci Beaucoup, etc, and to Cat Lovers everywhere, a Big Miaou.

Here goes:

* Eva Albiol -- thanks for the Phone Box card. I hadn't realised that British phone boxes had gotten as far as Morocco.

* Fleur Helsingor -- thanks for the collage card and the stickers (much appreciated, as usual)

*Carl Baker -- thanks for all those postcards. Now I know what Peterborough, Ont, looks like. (I think I prefer Peterborough, UK. Or anywhere other than Ottawa, Ont).

* Jim St Amour -- thanks for all those phones you photo-ed (?) in Mount Dura. Where did you find such a collection -- at a dump?

* Marguerite Keen -- thanks for the lovely envelope and all the goodies inside -- which will be recycled

* Mom Kat -- thanks for the 2 telephone box cards (and the sandpaper). I'll phone you, as requested, and hope you won't mind if I reverse the charges?

* Paul Blank -- thanks for the minimalist collage card, and the cartoon-type one, too: you might be only 14, but you have talents, young man

* Serse Luigetti -- thanks for your Italian take on the British traditional Phone box

* Bethany Lee -- thanks for your Retro interpretation of communications. If only life was that simple -- what happened to the tape recorder, the fax and all the rest of those things?

* Janine Weiss - thanks for two great Arty Slides for Summer 2013 (which, I fear, won't be as exciting as Summer 2012), and the sewn cherry card

* Cristina Blank -- thanks for two funny cards. You must have an enrmous responsibility as MomBlank, now that the guys in the Blankhold have gotten in on the act

* MomKat again -- thanks for 3 SandPo postcards; You've nearly sent enough now for your very own display panel (I must count how many you've sent)

* Keith Chambers -- thanks for William Archer, and

* William Archer -- thanks for Keith Chambers (and the stamps)

* Chantal Casamyor de Planta -- thanks for the Telephone Box card. Sorry I wasn't in when you called -- do try again.

* Rider Heise-Pearce -- thanks for being my Mail Art Team Mate and sending me a telephone Box collage card

* David Blank -- thanks for being 10 years old and getting in on the Mail Art act. I've now received mail from 4 of the 5 Blanks. Who's missing? (and why?)

* StripyGoose -- thanks, and congratulations, for nearly getting one of your very Special Geese into a Phone Box

* Erica Durante -- thanks for the Glittering Gesso Experiment. You're a poet/ do you know it?

If I've missed anyone out -- sorry!

Regards, Val

1, 2, 3, 4 & 5: I bet there isn't another family of 5 Mail Artists in IUOMA.
