Wenchkin of Albuquerque, not only does both but she also runs an international business concern with offices across the globe including our beloved Petsmo. (Waitpinga and Wakoshi pending). This is a nice grouping of Wenchkin's work which is…See More

The Radiograms of Marie Wintzer

From the Musee Wakoshi Catalog, The Art of Marie Wintzer: Exile in Artville:The radiograms of Marie Wintzer are absurdist bits of high drama which mimic the hysterical tone  of our media and at the same time make perfect sense. The lack of Kale Rooting Hormone could, plausibly, be the turning point in the collapse of our…See More

More recently I received a packet of Tie Stories, RCBz's response to a mail art call from Cheryl Penn. As I've come to expect from the man from Saint Clown, they are masterful collages and the stories that accompany them are just as witty. To wit:…

Ohhhhh! I thought that perhaps you had a mild case of dyslexia and I just overlooked it, so as not to hurt your feelings. But I did anyway. Hmmph. Now that I'm having a closer look, yes, it's a very realistic rendering of a wallaby. Yes, indeed. My mistake.

That poor thing. I had to keep patching up the paint since he started out orange (as you spotted). I thought orange too bold a color for a ninja of his temperament. His little base is some glued-together bits of wood that I had peeled the letter stamps from. (Or however I should say that to keep a preposition off the end of.)

If you'd like, I will give you first shot at marketing. That part of things just isn't my forte. I like the raking in the money part. But then there is the issue of the cheese rinds.
