Hi there,
I am going away for a week to Scotland at the beginning of April and I am looking for somebody who might be willing to create some artistamps for the Positively Postal website while I am away. I usually make mine based on (historical) events of the day or if there is some sort of special (sometimes made up) occasion, such as Make Up Your Own Holiday day (that was yesterday apparently!) or Bunsen Burner day this coming Saturday. However, you could just make them about…

Hi there everybody! As you may or may not know I launched a mailart competition in conjunction with some new Royal Mail stamp entitled "A-Z of the U.K." which were issued in the middle of October.
Unfortunately to date I have not had any entries so I am writing this today to ask you to take 10 or 15 minutes and try to make something for this competition and send it in. All the details are under this link and you could win some great prizes:…

There are two places I am still looking for mailart contributions for and they are Blackpool Tower and Edinburgh Castle. Could anybody here maybe produce some mailart tied around either of these two, write a short piece about them along…

Patricio - The Celestial Scribe said… Dear Earthling: This morning a hummingbird on celestial mail service left City of Peace, the capital city of Republik van Patland, a tiny point in the Universe where this scribe comes from. The Postbird faced Planet Earth in a celestial mission. The objective is to deliver a heaven certified mail artwork kindly produced just for you by one of our mail art celestial masters.
Keep your vicinity under close observation. Celestial messengers – all of them – tend to show up when nobody expects them. The opportunity is propitious for you to see, first time ever, a Postbird on heavenly service if you wish to. Have luck! Keep me posted. Scribe

If you don't join the Arty Slides Carousel, you will never be invited to another Dean reunion. You have been warned, mon ami.
Get Arty Sliding or elese the Wrath of Szarkozy is likely to descend on you and yours.

Cal Desmond-Pearson said… Hi Scott!
Your cool mailart arrived 30 minutes ago :) Awesome! I'l be scanning it and putting it upon my blog at the weekend hopefully - my scanner commited Hari Kiri last week and I've got to get my old one out of storage in my friends garage.
Cal Desmond-Pearson said… Many thanks Scott, most kind of you! I look forward to its arrival. I've only been on here for a couple of days but everyone has been so welcoming. Tho' what they'll say when my attempts at art fall thru' their letterboxes I fear to think :)
I'm going to do some MA for Holocaust Memorial Day 27th Jan. So I'll add you to my list of folks to send to.
vizma bruns said… Hi Scott! What a lovely surprise to get your mail art and invitation. I really love the art stamp you put on the envelope!
Hmm, Jan 31, don't know if I can make that deadline, are there any letters that haven't been represented? Let me know and I could try to get something together for you.
If not, I can take my time getting mail art back to you!
Thanks. Vizma
Patricio - The Celestial Scribe said… Scott my newest postal friend: Your mail art was received a couple of days ago. Good mail art homework!!! It called my attention the fact that we never had a say before. Well, thats the way mail art suprises us. Whay you did choose this scribe to be part of the A-Z project? At this time I´m busier than the Titanic pipe fitter, but I will take the time to understand the A-Z project and what my homework there is. I´m joining!
Thank you very much for the Mail Art you sent me! I'll do my best to send you something in return for your project.
