In November 2008 this IUOMA platform at NING became the home for members. So, in 2018 it seems we will still be here in NING thanks to all the members that donate, and we have the peasure of celebrating 30 years of IUOMA and 10 years on NING.This groups is to start with ideas on how we will do that. There are a lot of basic questions on Mail Art that are often asked and answered. This group might be the first place to look for answers. I will do my best to answer, but hope that other members can help out as well.
I like communication, art, paper, painting and concepts. The ideal combination for doing Mail-Art. Worked with rubberstamps as a child and started sending out letters as soon as I could write. Discovered that it was called mail-art in 1980. Have been discovering ever since and in the last years also promoting this free cultural exchange.

First of all my thanks for all at the work that you put into maintaining this wonderful community of artists. Secondly, and I hate to make work for you, but comments in the Latest Activity section on Mypage seem to have disappeared, except for the most recent one. There were about 25 comments. This happened within the last 24 hours. My last 2 interactions were with De Villa Sloane.
I have not changed my settings during that timeframe, so am unsure how this happened. Is there a cure for this work of internet gremlins?
Yes, I somehow was transformed into Bug Post when I had only requested that a beetle enquire on my behalf to find out if the real Bug Post continues to survive and thrive. It is a crushing responsibility to now be Bug himself, when I feel far more like Debug. Am sending about 70 words for your IUoMA compendium......what is it? Thirty years? You and your project bridge the milleniums, from pencil to electrode: Updating the Network's potential for meaningful continuity. Paragraph 1. Put that in your upcoming book.
Want to support the IUOMA with a financial gift via PayPal?
The money will be used to keep the IUOMA-platform alive. Current donations keep platform online till 1-mar-2019. If you want to donate to get IUOMA-publications into archives and museums please mention this with your donation. It will then be used to send some hardcopy books into museums and archives. You can order books yourself too at the IUOMA-Bookshop. That will sponsor the IUOMA as well.
