Profile Information

Mail-Artist since:
2009 (and not aware being mailarting since 1979)
My Website (without http://):

Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
Making illustrations is my life.
Furthermore: I like to see other people's creative outbursts, love to see creative additions to envelopes. I like stamps, like to communicate via art works, I'm fascinated by how snail mail works: put a stamp and address on an envelope and a whole system of people and transportation means is bringing that single envelope to wherever you want.
Count up all previous words and see: Mail Art is inevitable.

P.S. If you want to create and send me mail art about your favourite (weird or common) animal I will be most happy; I'll like to post it on my http://realweirdanimals.blogspot.com blog.

What or whom is she staring at?

Posted on January 3, 2018 at 12:21am 141 Comments

I've sent her to various colleague mail artists.

And great 'this is what she sees' returned home.

Of course new visions still are welcome.

Thank you very much, all of you!

Diorama from Dean

Stamps which are almost loose but still in their place... Mail from Paris...

That must be Dean's!

The stamps were added to an enormous box which had succeeded  to enter my p.o.box. Too big for the scanner, so I show it thanks to 'real…

The Soccer Field AAP's

Posted on October 24, 2015 at 2:36pm 4 Comments

For some unknown reason I got a note-pad full of soccer field sheets. First I wanted to draw my favourite soccer team in it, but that appeared  too much work regarding the little time I have.

Fortunately some colleague mail artists are willing to help to complete the sheets.

I'll post the added-to-and-passed-on-and-returned-to-me sheets in this…

Hi! There are too many Groups already! Why just one on bicycles, and not others on tandems, trycycles, ligfiels, omafiets, opafiets, red bikes, orange bikes, school bikes, etc? The tendency is to have more and more specialised themed Groups. And I for one, think that is not what Mail Art should be all about: 'Mail me something, anything; and I'll ùail you something back'. By post, of course-- and not the internet
