Happy Winter Solstice, many happy sunny mailarting days!
This Snail Trail took its time to fill up but suddenly it did and there is another waiting to be posted! Thank you!
Thanks dear friends, your work keeps me in good spirits in these dull Autumn days!
Thank you so much for your contributions.
Thank you! But who sent the Walmarth delivery note? The answer is Alan Brignull! He said in his next post.
Thanks for your art!
Thanks dear friends! These fabulous snails were…

From Phillip Lercher, FinnBadger and Moby
Not only a clever observation but ...
...posted on the very same palindromic day.
By the way FinnBadger and Moby are cats. Brilliant mail artists both of them.
from Jack of Cascadia As I collect cats, Jack collects oligargarchs.

Another minizine , this time from Shellie Lewis, with an appeal to save the sharks. It can be download for free from

A portrait of Chance the Snapper who lives in Humboldt Park near Shellie in Chicago.
Can of Worms, opened here by the inimitable Boris. Nothing escapes Shellie! Yes, very well observed and caricatured. Thank you for wishing us luck, we certainly need it.
Bonniediva’s Minizine # 2 completes my collection so far. It is a little jewel of a bookie with a poem illustrated by Bonnie.
Debra found a beautiful antique and made a card with its cover, very nice to touch, like linen.…

August 1-7 2017 International Clown Week
The Mail Art call about clowns sponsored by Cascadia Artpost and Walmarth of Retailia.
Mail Art Through the Letterbox All the Mail Art I got in a year
greetings from Serbia.
The mail (Art) has arrived from you.
Thank you very much.
I will post soon.
Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
It's a long story, I was involved from 1988 and I partecipated and I created several Mail-Art projects for many years. Now I create only digital and web artistic works. But I will publish in my blog here many old works that I sent and I received by snail mail in this years,
thanks for networking martha, if you like to roll-in some times in our artist residence in spain, you are welcome.
hi martha,
a tip for your next adventure in mailart. in germany you pay 0.92 GBP for one international envelope (max 20gr). so i think it makes sense to collect your mail art and you take a cheap flight with at least 60 envelopes in a handbag and you make a daytrip to a german city and drop them of. if you find 3 other artists doing the same you could deliver 3 times a year and it would be much more fun...
(there is no irony in this text!)
all the best
juan
Ciao un fraterno abbraccio , b
My pleasure, Martha!
Ciao Cara Amica...come stai? Un fraterno abbraccio ❤️
Just to be clear, the 'Odd to a Krokis' was not my work; it was printed by a friend Bill Taylor years ago. The author was 'anonymous' but I have a suspicion it may have been Bill himself. Alas, it's too late to ask now.
