I still know of one actual 1960s era functioning photo booth, in a drugstore in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado.   Perhaps I need to make a trip over the mountain.....

Thanks Susan...I was hoping there would be a good HP to use.

I'll check out what's available and affordable. Thanks!

Summer Solstice today! Longest day of the year and

hot...hot...hot...

or...'tis the shortest day of the year and into winter,

if you are "down-under" in South Africa, Australia, South Pole!

I hope someone let's us know about their compatible inkjet printer for a Mac...I have switched, too, to this great little "white leopard"MacBook but must run to the the pc in the hot city to print out anything. 'Would be nice to go Mac 100%. Someone...let us know?

I upgraded and crossed platforms recently from a PC to a Mac but now my Canon 8000 printer which I'm perfectly happy with doesn't get along with the mac. They fight, they bicker and then produce a lousy print. What printers are people using with their macs that make them happy....The inkjets I've been looking at all seem to have convincing detractors on Amazon. Are there any good inkjets out there for art work that can take a variety of paper stocks? Please advise....

Thanks Eduardo! May every day be a good mail art day for you, too!

Here at the Cafe, I have switched to drinking  ice tea...under the olive tree ;-)

Photobooth Book Photos Call

If you want to participate in the next photobooth book, mail in four photobooth style photos with dialogue bubbles documenting a photobooth performance by November 30th, 2011 to: PhotoBooth Book, PO Box 1424, Jupiter, FL 33468  For quality control, no electronic submissions please - original photobooth photos only - no copies! No returns. Future exhibitions to be announced to participants. Be sure to use the prescribed format - photobooth image size and include dialog bubbles. .

To understand the format fully see a preview of pages from a recently released photobooth book at URL: http://www.lulu.com/content/paperback-book/a-day-at-the-races/10256119 allowing a slight delay time in loading the preview. The prescribed format files are also downloadable from http://ginnylloyd.blogspot.com/. (see book announcement) If you do not have access to a photobooth you can use clear photos of quality in the format. You can send in as many performances as you want but I can only guarantee space for one submission at this time.

Participants will be able to get a copy of the next book as a free PDF download or print copies at wholesale. Updates and announcements will be made on the http://ginnylloyd.blogspot.com/ blog, Facebook and here,

Thanks,

Ginny
