Well Susan, I finally got home from work to check for more goodies to inhale from the cafe and I got my exercise regime for the holiday from you. You really want to do it? I am game. Love ya.

I know in Saudi Arabia, women are not allowed to drive.
Even now, when I visit Turkey, I go with a tour group...

- Thanks for the pic of Jordan "moonscape"! Very barren territory,eh? I lived for two years in Istanbul and often traveled inland to eastern Turkey. The same: dry, rock, desert...barren landscape. And a woman's life there, too, is "covered", though a bit more liberal than most muslim countries. Still, not an easy place to live for a single-female-infidel-of-the-West.

Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...
Each participant will receive a volume.
Deadline: october, 2010.

Have a great trip...and does not the plane stop in Athens for a night or two? I shall be traveling, also. Going south to Athens and will be there Oct. 10-18...'could meet at the airport :-)

- I'll have to relay that thought to Aphrodite! Isn't that a lovely name to be baptized with? This "Aphrodite", is now secretary of SKETBE (2002-2004 she was with the Olympics Art Exhibit in Stavroupoli). She is very active with art and art exhibits, and now I have her involved with mail art. And she doesn't have a computer!!! But she will do fine.
And we look forward to an amazing exhibit in December.
