Thank you for the explanation. I was referring to the sound of these balls, for meditation and such.

And the movie with Björk is actually a musical. The main plot of the movie is about social issues, and what I wrote is just a fragment that came to my mind while listening.

Your idea about the rhythm of footsteps is also interesting.

Anyway, thank you for the link.

Hello again :-) You are welcome.

I can't say that I know which film you are talking about either (I am no movie enthusiast), but appreciate the description. In fact, now you remind me of when I used to go running and purposely skim the bottom of my running shoes against the ground every few steps, to make a rhythm.

I also really like the artwork you made whilst listening, and find it a little humorous :-)

The anti-stress balls you mention must be different to the ones I have got my designs printed on, as they are PU foam and make a squishy sound.

I will send you a message with a picture of the stress balls I had designed for me.

Thank you very much.

Interesting.

Some tones from the percussion section, especially in the first few minutes, reminded me of the sound of 'anti-stress balls'—we call them 'balls for nervous hands' here. In fact, the entire composition reminded me of a film starring Björk (I didn't remember the name ~the phase where she works in a factory, where the noise of factory machines, the clanking of trains, or footsteps on the street become the rhythm for spectacular musical and dance choreography in her head, etc.)

I made this while listening⬇️.

Hello members :-)

I have been observing this group for a while, and would like to offer a contribution...

https://moldermusic.bandcamp.com/track/safe-quality-hakuros-exhibit...

This song is called "Safe Quality", and was used for an exhibition in Japan a number of years ago. With the music in mind: there are slow, dancing sequencers, and more notably a recurring beeping sound - a bit like a truck or lorry reversing to park. I think of mail and goods being delivered safely from this. The sound of the wooden bars are like little bumps whilst travelling, or maybe construction of various items. The music is woven in a way where a lot of the components intercept within the timing , making me think of a simultaneous complex of "leaving" and "arrivals".

Thanks for the links and the audio pleasure.
I listened. I love improvisations. Much like your description in the accompanying text. I was just doodling this while listening. It’s not an illustration. Just spontaneous, without thinking, if such a thing is even possible. Although, my day was spent on things I didn't really want to be part of, so maybe some of that surfaced or projected itself. I also like your illustration. It reminded me of a book cover for "The School of Hypnotism". Meaning, it doesn’t look like it, but it reminds me of it [the last time I saw it was decades ago, I don't know where that came from now].
I listened through to "self-promotion". Number 3 is the one most in my bloodstream. Number 4 "annoyed" me—I found a parallel there with some surrounding noises that disrupt my concentration 🤭😁😉.

I don't have a professional comment, of course... but there you go, just a few thoughts and emotions.
