PATIENTS PATIENTLY WAITING BEFORE THE POOLS AT LOURDES, FRANCE

LES BEAUX SITES LANDAIS

The entrance to the Camp at Biscarosse-Plage, France, where Christine sent this card to her friend Mireille in Dijon in 1988, and telling her that she was having an 'agriable vacance'.

WINE PRESS, CHATEL-SUR-MOSELLE, FRANCE

'Pressoir bourguignon' in the arsenal at the Fortress of the Comtes de Vaudémont. The Fortress was built between the 11th-15 centuries, and the barrels seem to be almost that old. Not a bottle of wine in sight though..

The Postcard was sent in July 1985 by Solange to her family. She had a lot to say, but I can't read her writing, except that she says she will phone tomorrow evening (assuming the Postcard reaches her Chére Maman in time)
