Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
I enjoy collecting philatelic covers, addressed FDCs and addressed view cards. A bit of mail art can help make any cover an interesting keepsake.

I do not collect mint stamps, unaddressed FDCs, or unused view cards. I like real mail from real people.

Earthling, If you consider celestial mail from celestial beings real mail from real people, then please accept this as the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on August 17  I was unable to welcome you on board.  At the time I was in a celestial journey far beyond the Milky Way. Now, back to planet Earth, I´d love to be the other end when you decide it’s the right time to start trading snail mail art. If this is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:

The Celestial Scribe

Terrene Embassy

Republik van Patland

Caixa Postal 24827

Curitiba-PR

80510-970

Brazil

I look forward to see a piece of yours in our terrene mailbox. I will do my homework after receiving yours. This is nothing less than a Celestial Promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van Patland official envelope provider.

Hello Antoinette,

So glad you joined us. This is the place for real mail from real people! I'm the mentor for August. If you haven't yet looked at the link "New to IUOMA" I suggest that you start there. Also, in groups, "Ask Anything" is helpful. Send me a message if you have questions about Mail Art and the Union.

If you'd like to send me Mail, my address is on my IUOMA page. I'll be sure to send mail in return.

Best to you, Mim
