A wonderful painting and collage from Ana entitled "Sexy Boy". Ok so maybe I'm missing something here. Then I realize that actually it's only a two star sexy boy. Well I'm happy I spotted that in time! Thank you Ana, and please feel free to tell me I am wrong.…

OH I like this one. OK so I took me five times to scan it, and then the scanner started smoking. Not to worry as I got the snap shot in the end.
Something very pleasing about Black & White circles, and this of course reminds me of bar codes. Well the unstraight kind. Actually most likely not very easy to do when you think about it. It's a hit for me. Thank you Sarah.…

Jennie,
Thank you for the historical Detroit "Cinderella" artistamps. John King Books is the best! You have a wonderful ability to compose mailart that is whimsical, international, historical & creative, as well as personalized. Your India, Germany & Celebrate stamps make me smile.
The India stamps remind me of India's spiritual leader, Amma. She is known as "The Hugging Mother". (She's hugged 30 million people! Can you believe it?!!) Her vast humanitarian efforts are…

Arttower,
Your mailart is bright, friendly, futuristic & universal. Your design communicates a strong love for the world. "Let the sun shine in your heart today!" is such a great reminder. Life can be stressful at times, so it's nice to see something positive arrive in the mail. Thank you for this.…

Utter delight when I found these stamps in my post today! Each stamp bespoke and I wonder why I have ever worried that my edges aren't perfect. The character and uniqueness of these have inspired me! Such a range. Oh the joys of IUOMA, the surprise, the generosity. Thank you. You sent these to the right…

Bonjour!
This is the 2nd of 3 installments in the Polo Mint Adventures.
Here's a Polo Mint, just to remind you of what this is all about -- placing a Polo Mint on a work of art in a Museum, and taking a photo of it -- while trying not to get thrown out of the museum (as happend to me in Bilbao and St Jacques de Compostelle.
I visited the…

Dean's mail art is ALWAYS double concentrated. Far-out, fun, and jazzy without all the mess. Of course I love the bison and if there is such a thing as Randals Bison the French Buffalos Ranch, I love that too, and it's all accompanied by a map so I have no…

Sherri,
This artmail arrived and made me laugh. You're the first person to send me something edible. And for an appetizer, BUGS! This Gummi Pizza mailart surprised me. It reminds me to lighten up and have fun. Thanks.…

Bifidus,
This collage postcard is so well done. You have a great talent for layering handwriting, text, images, color... The whole design is harmonious and friendly. I feel like I'm in a European Court from centuries past speaking to a Royal. Very cool.…

This piece teaches me the importance of grieving. Society shouts Rush, Hurry, Go!!. This piece gently whispers slow down and take time to cry your tears. Grief unexpressed ends up causing unhealthy situations. I am more appreciative of my Mother after having received this. Thank you. …

Vizma Bruins sent me a wonderful envelope full of rubber stamped goodness today, and while I often do not take the time to share with others, I thought that this one needed to be seen.
Vizma's rubber stamps filled the outer surface of the envelope, and finally I was able to see first hand her Elvis stamp. 2 thumbs up. (and I love that Aus-trA liaM is mail art backwards....coincidence? I think not! ) Thanks Vizma!…

I stopped smoking (everything, don't ask) on February 1st, 1975.
I was hypnotised, and was told that there would be no side effects.
There was but one -- I became addicted to Polo Mints (what y'all over there call Lifesavers).
Here is a Polo Mint.
I always have a packet of Polo Mints in my pocket.
I realised the hitherto undiscovered…
