Dean's mail art is ALWAYS double concentrated. Far-out, fun, and jazzy without all the mess. Of course I love the bison and if there is such a thing as Randals Bison the French Buffalos Ranch, I love that too, and it's all accompanied by a map so I have no excuse for not visiting the place. Merci Monsieur Dean!

That's great! I have to admit, every time I think about Bifidus I have this vision of a bison. Not to be confused with vison.

Oh it's a real place alright.  I was amazed to find this flier in a tourist office in a small village on our route.  "OH YES Bifidus",  I thought to myself.  Always surprises to find in France.  I'm sure you can youtube / Google it for more information.  I can think of a lot of excuses not to visit it ... grown-up Frenchmen acting like American cowboys!

During our hike we lived on this tomato paste and bread as it was the lightest thing we could find to carry.  It is a wonderful part of France and plan to do the second part of the trail next summer.
