Exhibition – for those who happen to be around

Dear friends,

For those of you who happen to be around: Here's the press release of one of the latest projects I participated in.

Vinyl is not one of my regular materials, but, boy, it felt so good heat it up, let it melt partially and then fold it into a windmill. Awfully sorry, Chopin... :-)

England's favorite landscape - from Valentine Mark Herman

It took me a while to find out who sent me this card because I don't have any IUOMA friends in England. I know Valentine goes back and forth between England and France, and thanks to Bifidus' blog I am sure he is the sender.

I am very fond of everything… Continue

yoko ono

I have just spent a day working on my artistamp album which is coming along quite nicely.  I have decided to include a few pages that will be "about" specific people, for instance, I have started a "homage to Duchamp" page (which has only one stamp on it at the moment ... a Hungarian stamp of the Mona Lisa with a moustache drawn on it).  I was thinking of having a page devoted (if that is the right word) to Yoko Ono who, through her connection with a certain Beatle, was my first introduction…

Boekie 1 - done!

After a lot of sweating and swearing and dozens of needle pokes, I finally finished Boekie 1. I know there are several architectural mistakes, but hey, it's the first one, and I quite like it. It will contain Cheryl Penn's correspondence. I now need to (slowly) tackle Boekie 2 for other received mail. It will have to be quite different to accommodate all kinds of formats including A4 pages. Hmmm, I don't have a clear idea of what it should look like yet...

Brought through Customs by Valentine Mark Herman, France/England--10% Off Piercing Voucher

Valentine, recently returned from a trip to his homeland, has collected quite a stash of odds and ends as displayed in this engaging collage. It looks as if Merry ole England has morphed into the airport's Lost and Found box. I like my name on the Landing Card and… Continue
