Haptic Werewolf of Hamburg strikes again! (actually two times ;-)

Since February 2, the postman has dropped off notices that I should come to the post office to pick-up packages. The notice never says from where or from whom, or what it even is! Being in bed with the flu, I waited until yesterday, Feb.15 to go and retreive them (before they get sent back!) To my surprise there were 4 packages! One with TIME magazines from David in Arizona, one with a catalog from the Jean Genet project, and then, TWO from Herr Erni!

aha! The Haptic Werewolf...and choco-mail-art! I lilke this!

and another package with butterflies! Haptic Fluxism....

What wondrous things are inside...haptic colors, textures, and chocoTastes!

Two great Erni collages, chocolates...and yes, SANDPAPER! What more could a gal ask for?

Tigers, Darling..lots of tigers! Actually, they are just oversized kitty cats, right?

And, speaking of KitCats...'love the vintage matchboxes. Both collages had one,

and they are gems! No skinny "Barbie doll" standards for these beauties.

Well, of course they were accompanied by the gods...the Elephant god. A very happy guy!

And I still cannot agree with this little fella, who states that this is NOT mail art?

Why, it is the apex of mail art! 'Even made the postal clerk smile when she handed them to me.

Put a little color into the dull life of a government employee ;-)

Thank you muchly, Herr Erni! You put a lot of ART into these dull winter days.

Will definitely go on a choco health diet soon! Oh, I have one of those great cardboard disks...with the slot in the middle, Erni sent me, yes, yes! I can't make mail art and send it as a "postcard"? Gee whiz, gosh...it looks like a frisbie ;-)

Natürlich, Ich will es. (I think Kate's problem is that she doesn't eat enough chocolate--I don't get sick either because I have chocolate everyday)

You hit the jackpot, Katerina. Erni found some great images to meld pop culture with tradition, and reflects a personal sense of mischief.

I always love the "feel" of your collages, Erni. You use some of the most exotic papers...and chocolates ;-)

I have to stash the chocolates in the fridge for future consumption, as I still have the lingering cough and choco is not a good thang at this time...tea and honey instead. sigh.
