Student Work

I have been working with art students here at the University and introduced them to the IUOMA.  As a final project they need to look at various work being done and then create a series based on one or more artists.  Wanted to share the results, thank you all.

Anete Ulmane: Trashpo N° 3

     New on the block for me is Anete Ulmane from Riga, Latvia.  This one is called; "Trashpo n° 3".  WOW , if this is N° 3, I can't wait to see what N° 99 will look like.

   It has nearly everything you could ask for in a Trashpo piece.  Tickets, birth control pill packages, cardboard, tissue from a dress, sewing, tea packaging, a hand written letter (remember those?), magizine cut outs, and what I really love is a "waiting line ticket * " n° 146.  (* Not sure what they are…
