BZZZOING! - invite to Arte Postale! magazine n. 100

BZZZOING!

Future Sounds & Music By Mail

2009 marks 100 years from the first Manifesto of Futurism. In 2009 will be published the 100th issue of Arte Postale!, a mail art magazine that I started thirty years ago, in October 1979. What puts in relation the two events is sound: Futurist Luigi Russolo’s Manifesto The Art of Noise is a milestone in the history of the experimental and weird sounds that I have been promoting since the early Seventies in my journalistic work for a… Continue

TWISTED

Often times when I feel myself stuck in a bit of an uncreative pass I'll grab whatever is closest and easiest to manipulate. Which would also explain why I have so many little wire sculptures all about the apartment. It ends up being an exercise to free myself up a bit and try to get the creative juices flowing without committing to a gigantic project. I also… Continue

Just so everyone is clear

Hi Mailartists , thanks agian for the response that you have given my project. But some of you seem a bit confused by what it is im trying to do.

I am after air from different countries, I believ that the easiest way for you to mail it to me is in a bag, this bag needs to bo airtight (for oblivious resons) and then put into a box so that it does not pop during its journey to me.

The bag need only be small just a little ziplock bag or small food bag.

I hope that the brief is now… Continue
