Heart Matters to Lisa (Skybridge Studio's). It Matters Alot.

I sat with this gift a long time last night.  I realized how much Heart Matters to Lisa  (Skybridge Studios). It matters a lot. How could I tell?  It was the nature of the heart that put together a book for a person she does not know - the care-filled making, the giving of mail art which she has received and now passed on to me, and the heart choices that accompany her work. A beautiful book in a box labelled "National Society of Daughters of the  American Revolution". And you've just…

WOW From Bifidus Jones!

This Mail Art was made with love.  Bifidus made a matchbox into a mechanical  scrolling poem machine!  Well, not  exactly  a poem....more like a list.  But what a creative list indeed, so to me, it's a poem.  "The Stuff That Rocks Put Up With" is at the end off the list.  Here's the list:  Gravity and sling shots/ fat sheep slipping/ seagulls/ dead walleye drifting/ caveman… Continue

Hi from a newbie

I just joined IUOMA.  Yesterday I was buying magazines at B&N and browsed around in the crafts section at origami books because I had a little time and am on summer vacation.  I found the book Good Mail Day: A Primer for Making Eye-Popping Postal Art which was published in  2009.  It is fun and inspiring, with samples and ideas that don't rely on a lot of "products."  I have been aware of mail art, and am old enough to have done it two or three decades ago, but it was not something… Continue

Après quelques étapes, il arrive directement de chez Valentine Mark Hermann, à Sigean (France) et a traversé la France en quelques jours pour arriver à Guivry (Utopia-France).

Monsieur Martin va profiter de notre climat tempéré, visiter la…
