I really enjoy the textures of this card with its layers of paint and half torn stickers--and the tiny word "hope" near the bottom....

MAM sends me a quick sketch of her crow--evidently this one and a couple of others follow her around the neighborhood (being bribed with dog biscuits) and fly around her while she walks. It's a good thing there aren't too many doing this! But I love crows and I wish I had "tame ones" to walk with me. Also she sent a sketch of a man relaxing at the beach, which makes me really hope warm weather is really on the way soon. Plus a wonderful artistamped anti-war envelope! Always timely. Thanks!…

Always wonderful to receive mail art from someone new to me! Terry sends 2 original collage/found poems. The colors on the larger (PC size) one are just fantastically dark and magical. I don't yet know what the Italian text says but you bet I'm going to find out. This PC is marvelous to the touch, many layers of paint and glue and paper, rough and smooth. One edge is…

Kangaroo postcard from Vizma, with boxers and a toothy grin. Not sure who would win this fight - probably the kangaroo. Thanks Vizma! I love all the stamps. What an archive you…

Jon sent this amazing envelope with a TON of goodies inside. I can't wait to get started using them. Thanks so much Jon. I think at the bottom of the page is an add and pass of a human intestine diagram. Who should I send it to?

"Short Stories", is a very well-made and beautiful accordion book from Ptrzia aka TICTAC.
Ptrzia has cut some clever lines in the book where she put in loose collaged papers.…

Ermahgad!!!!!! The Gnome warned me about this mailing, and here it is! As always, in an extraordinary envelope, this time a really nice hand-drawn piece (front and back) about the "right of assembly" which has great importance for us "assemblers" of Mail-Art! Notice that the postage on the envelope is ALL about the same subject -- amazing that you would have all these stamps, Gnome, and be able to put your hands on them when you needed them! And your Gnome artistamp at the end of the…

Jorgia loves to do these complicated little packets. This one is a book made out of magazine paper, interesting in and of itself (I keep trying to read the stories). Each page has little packets attached with more stuff, all of which will find its way back into the Mail Art stream as I use it in my own mail art! I love this kind of recycling! Oh, and there's a theme -- the light side and the dark -- you'll see why.…

Debra sends this altered PC all about (to me) privacy, and lack of it -- the paranoia continues on the flip side with an eye, the words "exhibit D" etc. Love it! Strikes home for sure! As the great Satchel Paige said, "Don't look back, they might be gaining on you." …
