Zombie Kitty Kawaii! Travels The World!

Zombie Kitty Kawaii! wants to travel the World and needs your help! This project is part "Flat Stanly", part "Add and Pass" and part "Roaming Gnome". Let me explain:1) Zombie Kitty Kawaii! will arrive on your doorstep needing a place to stay. Of course, you will have to entertain her; take her to a favorite cafe, a famous landmark or any place of your choosing (shopping, perhaps?). Photograph yourself with Zombie Kitty Kawaii! (camera phone is fine) and email to zombiekittykawaii@gmail.com or…See More

Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
Wow. Have I really been sending mail-art and postcards for over a year now?! Anyway, I love the idea of making something and sending on to someone else. I also think some of the group mailers have been loads of fun and a great challenge.

I honestly think we don't use our postal service enough these days.

Two From Angie and Snooky:

A few weeks ago, I made a comment that if there was a television program made of my life, it would probably be called "Hipster Mom Stuck In The Suburbs And Constantly Waiting For Her Son's Bus". Truth is usually stranger then fiction. Anyway, dear Angie (and Snooky) sent me these two lovely cards. The first is a a very Steampunk Snooky helping me wait for my own bus…

From By Golly Engineering comes the "Steam Machine", a vehicle after my own heart! Drive one of these and nobody will ever steal your parking spot ever again. Looking forward to seeing more of your "Steamy" creations, Deb!

"Gotij" From Cheryl Penn:

This is some kind of wonderful piece, because it's done on a film-type material. It looks different every time I look at it from all angles; back and front, held up to the light, etc. which is why I'm posting 3 different photos of it. In fact, this is so lovely that the photographs cannot really do it justice. Really "Gotij", Cheryl! Thank you.…

Hi Louise Kiner,
Know any of the 1st line of Toronto artist who did time in mail?  (Or, video in A Space when there was an A Space?  Seems Art Metropole is all that survives from them days, 'though most of General Idea is now gone....noticed that Flakey Rose Hips/Glenn Lewis recently did a presentation of sychronized swimming in Toronto - needs a shark simultaneously in the pool for audience engagement).yrs frum

Well, Happy Birthday to you, Louise AND Edith Piaf! I had no idea that her birth date was today...'must add it to Birthday Mania.

Edith Piaf's legal name was Greek: Edith Lamboukas ( her second husband)
