Timothy--thanks for your friendship. I'm looking forward to future mail art exchanges. I see that Carl Baker found you. We are fortunate to have him and his extraordinary artwork in our network.

Hi Tim--I finally scanned your monotype book and posted the contents today. I have something coming to you later this week. Thank you again for such unique mail art.

Hi Tim--what a creative surprise from you in my PO box this am! I enjoyed perusing the book over breakfast. The collage elements give the prints even more meaning to explore. I will post it soon. Thank you!

I see that you sent it before you joined iuoma--welcome to a very fine group of creative people. You will receive mail art from me in a month or so.

FYI: My blue landscapes/wavescapes started out as a drawing in white ink of the male figure on the blue gesso background. I re-puposed the drawing into the cards with some  minor additions. The final 'scapes' were a response to mail art from Oleg & the Antarctic research station that I received last month (see my 2016 photo album). It all brought to mind a favorite poem fragment that I wrote on the reverse of the cards:

"a land not mine, still

forever memorable,

the waters of its ocean

chill and fresh"
