RIP Frank Osowski, Mail Artist

I just found out that one of my longtime correspondents, Frank Osowski, died May 7th. He lived in Australia with his partner, Leonie. She sent me word of the news, which I got upon my return from Chicago. Frank and his partner went by "F 'n' L Osowski" for their artistic collaborations. I had been exchanging mail art with them since my years in Tucson. They featured my mailings in a number of exhibitions in Australia, including related to the Midsumma event. I always enjoyed the brainy quality…See More

The W.Reginald Bray Appreciation Society

What is the strangest object that you have been sent? What is the most bizarre object that you can send?In the 1980s I once sent my friend a banana in the post.I stuck a stamp on to it,wrote the address in biro & popped it in the postbox. Not only did he receive it but he ate it for his lunch.Has the postal service got…See More
