Vacationing in a cabin near the Buffalo National River in Rural Arkansas, I had to stop to photo this lovely tiny post office in a very rural town. Someone who was coming out at the time told me that was what they got after the tornado took the old one a few years ago.

Lyneham Post Office in Canberra, Australia. It's also a launderette. Next door is BOOKLORE, a wonderful secondhand bookstore where I spend a lot of time. A couple of good cafes too.

Here's the Main Postal building in Kragujevac (read ''Kragouyevats'') Serbia, blue glass building on the left, whilst on the right side, the part of the old Postal building still could be seen. I don't go there often, since I am living in non-central hood.

The administrators of postmarks.org and the flikr collection were cordial about adding my local post office to the stream there :) so I thought I would share here as well, from my town of a few thousand. I have a great clerk there! Always curious and admiring your envelopes when they come in, and happy to hand cancel for my outgoing mail.
