Gallery West - Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, CANADA
June 1969
Curated by James Warren Felter.

colour offset poster: 62.4 x 62.4cm.
from the Five/Cinq Archives

The exhibition consisted of a single acrylic painting on the face of a postage stamp: 4 x 4cm. The artistamp was exhibited on a tiny easel stand placed on a maquette of the University's theater which was placed on a table in the university's theater lobby.

Yes, please make some screenshots to show here, instead of forcing us (or seducing us) to use FB...

Is there any way for non-Facebook users (like me) to see the posters? I tried googling FIVE/CINQ, which did produce several interesting links. Here's a sampling: Toast Postes Artistamp Archive; Gina Lotta Post Artistamp Museum and Archivve; ART IS STAMPS...

Our Little Flowers is accepting submissions of art and poetry

Our Little Flowers Manifesto:

We must be concerned with love.
We must not rebel, but be like flowers, silent and obedient.
We must not argue, but leave each to their own opinion.
We must devote our hands and our hearts to “Creationism,” not to “Destructivism.”
We must develop a simple, clear meaning in our work.

Send submissions to:

Hello! Ciao! I'm new in the IUOMA-network. I practice mail art since 2016. My project is Photosintehwind Art and creativity against all violences. Very happy and proud to be part of the mail-art community.

Our artists' group is organizing an exhibition on postal art in December.

We would like to request your participation for this just send us

a calligraphy envelope, illuminated, drawn ...

on the theme of travel (sea, air, earth, fantastic or imaginary)

We are committed to promoting culture, contact and this way of communicating is a nod to social networks.

I enclose the poster and if you want the payment I send it to the email address that you will communicate to me.

It would be a source of pride for our collective and myself to count you among our artists.
