The gallery VISIONI ALTRE in Venice in collaboration with the collettive AE in Rome, invites artists to reflect on the theme contestualizing it in their socio-geographical framework.
The topics are: WOMAN’S RIGHTS AND THE LGBTQ+ COMUNUITY
This call is in collaboration also with Guenda Mai a grad student at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. All the works recived by the artist will rapresent an important sourse for her thesis paper.

All the material will be exhibited at the Visioni Altre gallery in Venice from 15 to 30 January 2021, and then will be kept in the archive of Visioni Altre for future events.

I almost never use collages, if anything I use it digitally, but I liked to pay homage to a brave artist like Hannah, and not yet fully understood what I have to do in the group to her

Hi MAry Ann, thanks for writing so witty and nicely! ( my adjectives are not so many!) When your envelope arrived I was quite absorbed by your wonderful creation of the blue-white-black lettering, so now I hurried and took a straight look and discovered Monty Python! I am really a fan of the ministry of silly walks and the sketch with the parrot and... and..
You are right: I feel like a very happy bunny! (even when our heating is gone and a new one is not to be seen. we live in an apartment in an old high house; the water is only handwarm, but the temperatures outside are rather cold! But I still can have a hot water bottle!)

In case this may be of use or interest - I found that the auction site Delcampe has a dedicated Virus page that lists various countries together with a brief description of the state of their snail mail and links to their postal authorities sites. I followed along to Royal mail and they have a long list of countries updated every day. Russia is listed as closed for business and Germany listed as #problematical' but Spain seems to be open which surprises me given the news from there. Most…
