Sad news just in that Dawn lost her long fight with cancer recently.  Deepest sympathy goes out to all her friends and family.

Thanks Michael. I had lost contact with Dawn since he was moved to another hospital. It is very sad, he was a very interesting person and a kind one.

Indeed. I knew he had been very ill for a couple of years now with prostate  and bone cancer.  A sad end to an inventive mail artist and good painter of cityscapes especially.  Hope his close friends managed to sort out his estate .  Not sure what family he had.  He was always a bit of a mystery to me - although we lived quite close in South London during the 80's and 90's we never really corresponded much for some reason.

Loved the AARDA POSTA hand-drawn UFO stamp and AARDSMIFFS FORGE works.  Another great loss to the community.

Dawn lived near me but we did not discover each other until quite recently. I was lucky to see him several times in the last few years. His cityscapes were truly amazing and he had done many performances earlier on, before I met him. He did mentioned a brother once. I went to a few of his birthday parties but never met any members of his family. He had several good friends though, not surprisingly.
