Clean simple lines and a watercolour wash make this a very pleasing image! I like it a lot.

And the wildlife in David's garden is far more interesting than the monkeys in our KwaZulu gardens... his water buffalo lives near the birdbath.

Hello everybody.

I am just wowed every time I find more IUOMA mail-art in our Studio's PO Box come Mail Call Day. This is truly a fascinating group of people.

This time out, there are several artists from our ranks whose works it is my pleasure to post here, and who certainly deserve a round of applause. My brother and his girlfriend surprised me with a very nice birthday card, arrived right on time! They are not involved in any mail art business but I'm really happy to put up this card on the blog, I think Nastia is very talented (I hear it was mostly her work) and they are sweet kids, I like them. Merci les kloufis! (and when are you joining IUOMA?)…

Sent to the Mail Art Call titled " Wings/ Flügel ", that will be shown in May/ June 2011 to a greater public during the regional art project "Road of Art"  that takes place in locations all over the district "Landkreis Diepholz" in Lower Saxony/ Germany.…

The Day had finally arrived. Project 26 was to be bound.  After nearly six months, all the chapters were to find a home - together, in once place. Lesley and Lauriana joined me and the first three copies of this limited edition book are now complete.

MANY thanks to all the artists involved in this project.  It was a long haul, not without its ups and downs, but the results - SO worth it!!  As described by De Villo in the introduction - we have "witnessed artists from around the globe…

Eduardo's combination of graph paper with stats, text, stamps, ink, and a silhouette of the Pink Panther (gone red) calls to mind the many facets that make up a single piece of mail art.
