MANHOLE COVER LOVERS

There must be billions of them in the world. We pass them every day. We walk on them. We do not take any notice of them. They are heavy, and usually made of cast iron. They come in many different shapes, sizes and patterns. Look, and you will find them everywhere. What are they? MANHOLE COVERS, that provide access to local service systems such as water, electricity, gas, and telecommunications.Post photos of any interesting ones you find here.See More

"Postcard finally arrives 121 years after it was sent

An undelivered postcard has finally reached its intended destination - about 121 years after it was first popped off in the post.

The Christmas-themed card was delivered to Swansea Building Society’s Cradock Street branch last week even though it was originally sent in 1903 - so…

Valentin, I have learnt that it is now almost impossible to mail anything from Moscow to France because of the sanctions (resulting from the terrible war). Only the most ordinary letters and postcards can be exchanged, nothing more. For this reason, I will send You vintage postcards in small batches, it will look like a regular postal item in an envelope. I'll start with city views in winter - St Petersburg (still with a communist name), winter, boring postcards...

Valentin, I checked Your address on Google Map, and saw that there is a different house next to Your house, with a plaque with Molière's name on it. Please tell me why the plaque is there.
