Surrealist Society

I was turned on to Dali and Max Ernst in my 20s and that was it for me. Ever since, I’ve been a committed Surrealism fan and Surrealist artist. Though Surrealism covers a wide range of media, tones and styles, it has an unmistakable vibe for those who resonate with it. Dark, playful, wise, sad, mystifying, transcendent or heartbreakingly beautiful, Surrealism taps into…See More

How to respond to ATC Buddy Jam?

How do I respond collaboratively to the ATC Buddy Jam card I just received? It was in a mail art packet I got, and labeled as such. There was a picture on the front of the card and a space for two names and addresses on the back, with only the first name and address filled in. Do I add to the picture, add a friend's name to the second space on the card, and then send it to the first name on the list? Let me know if I guessed right, thanks! - MelanieSee More

Hi Melanie!

My apologies, I was quite active on IUOMA for some time, but then I moved to Denmark, where it is quite expensive to send lots of international mail. But I do still make and send postcards, and I'd love to receive yours and send one in return. If you don't mind sending internationally I've updated my address.

Thanks and have a lovely day :)

Hi Melanie! Thank you for the mail art! So fun to receive a bit of surrealism through the post.
I’m still trying to learn how to post and notify on this site, you can see your works on the main page. I’ll send something out to you soon. Glad to see another PNW mail artist.
