Surrealist Society

I was turned on to Dali and Max Ernst in my 20s and that was it for me. Ever since, I’ve been a committed Surrealism fan and Surrealist artist. Though Surrealism covers a wide range of media, tones and styles, it has an unmistakable vibe for those who resonate with it. Just received this lovely collage today from James Chester: Birch trees made from strips of text with gold leaf clouds in the background. Thanks, James!

Hi Melanie, thanks for you message. I can read them but I can't reply to them (ning problem). I'll respond in the mail because otherwise I think my continual public commenting will be taking up too much screen space for other people.

Thank you very much for "In the Depths", "Dropping", and "Protection". They were received by me yesterday. I love the blending of body and texture in your pieces. Currently looking around the walls of my room, trying to find the perfect spot for them :) Some of my art is on its way to you now!

Hi Melanie!

My apologies, I was quite active on IUOMA for some time, but then I moved to Denmark, where it is quite expensive to send lots of international mail. But I do still make and send postcards, and I'd love to receive yours and send one in return. If you don't mind sending internationally I've updated my address.

Thanks and have a lovely day :)
