Thanks to Richard who knows that ORANGE, Connecticut, is where this

ORANGE lover: Josef Albers (and his wife Ann) are buried!

"Josef was born in March of 1888 in Germany and was educated and taught at the Bauhaus.  He immigrated to the US in 1933 when the Nazi regime closed down the Bauhaus.  He first arrived and taught in Black Mountain, North Carolina and then was asked to come to the Yale University School of Design.  He and Anni lived in Orange and now are buried here. This piece, 'Oberservations in Orange' was sent to Dan Landrum.

Dan, being the digital wizard he is, provided this digital distortion of the piece...

Then, Moan decided to play with it...

And finally, Dan Mouer did his thing, printed it out and sent it back to me.

Now, THAT'S a lot of ORANGE!

I loved seeing everyone's take on that one piece, each person's Observation was unique.

Thought the group would appreciate seeing the progression. :D

received from Angie, tres fun. I am officially in the Orange lovers group though I have to say I don't really have a favorite color---what would the world be like without any one of them??? I do have a friend who really dislikes orange---that completely boggles me!

Thank you, Angie, the ORANGE sandpo is going to Dimitra in Patra for her mail art project: Mail Art project “Colour my world”

And the colour for August is ORANGE!

(there is some remaining pieces of the orange sandpaper, 

tell Snooky to keep a look-out at the mail box :-)
