ZALOPAS

SALAUPARDS (bastards, plurial)

ZAAL OPPAS (the babysitter or surveyor of a room)

ZAL OPPASSEN ( I shall be careful or prudent)

May I make a new suggestion:

ZALOPAX

I have worked for 2 years for a company that invented names for other companies or products, so be careful with "names without meanings". They are always meaningful by associations and a certain word or sound can mean or appeal to something quite different from one country to the other, from one language to another. I stopped doing this job because I felt like a prostitute (selling my creativity for a consumer market, yakkes!)

So ZALOP, associations that spring to my mind

In French: close to the sound of the word SALAUD or SALOPPE (bastard, the femail variation is often used to indicate a sex crazy girl or porn addict or porn star).

ZAL OP, I shall on (Dutch)

ZALOP, OPZADELEN (to burden someone with a problem), OP STAL (in the stable)

ZAL OP, ZAAL OPEN (the room is open, again a sexual metaphor folks)

ZALOP, LOP, LOOP, LOPLOP ( a loop, to run, period in the art of Max Ernst)

Someone wants to do this from other tongues?

The word is not okay for a commercial product but for art, miam miam mama mia !!!

Don't think this is a joke, the company I worked for invented YARIS for Toyota and that's only one example.

Review note:  Ruud has been making a performance score titled Fluxus Words since 1988.  The project was exhibited in San Francisco (1996), Moscow (2004) and new York (2010). ZALOP is  part of this score :-) X
