What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Here is a picture of my received MailArt365 pieces. The background is too busy ... I'm not used to this installation art thing. I want to put these pieces away for safe keeping so I decided to take this photo and I'll do the same for the next 11 months, around the beginning of the month. These are through 6 Jan 2011.

I got some mail from ArtyEm but didn't see it as a 365 piece so acknowledged it on our IUOMA site. Thanks ArtyEm.

That's it Rani, for those of us who are a bit over, let's say 40 (smile) keeping senility at bay is a motivating factor for sure. Thanks for adding that we are a GREAT bunch of artists. Here here for all of us.

Big day at Box652 yesterday! After an exhausting day of trials and frustrations and fatigue, I was thrilled to find mailArt from PostMuse and Paula.  PostMuse, everything arrived in perfect condition. THAT is as remarkable as your detailed and delicious place setting. Maybe I'll go make some curried olives... Paula, you are a master! Thank you!

Mailart:  Something in your mailbox that makes you smile.

Cheers,

Sue (aka McFloozy)

Quoting Andy,"

There is art in anyone who can take something they put their hand to and make it beautiful." or in Camel's case bloodstained, gorey and frightening, which Camel, not everyone can do. You my friend, have earned the title "artist".

I received Jennie's wonderful #032 today! And, Juli's 2/365, which makes me want to play more with my rather large rubber stamp collection. Thank you both!
