The gallery VISIONI ALTRE in Venice  in collaboration with the collettive AE in Rome, invites artists to reflect on the theme contestualizing it in their socio-geographical framework.
The topics of research and reflection are: WOMAN’S RIGHTS AND THE LGBTQ+ COMUNUITY

This call is made in collaboration also with Guenda Mai a grad student in Economics and Art Management at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. All the works recived by the artist will rapresent an important sourse for her  thesis paper.

All the material will be exhibited at the Visioni Altre gallery in Venice from 15 to 30 January 2021, and then will be kept in the archive of Visioni Altre for future events.

Thanks Caly.  I would like to tell Gin that I received her artwork but since her name is not listed in IUOMA I can´t.  That´s the whole story.  Any idea on how to contact her?

I tend not to comment on my memories.  Those get shown in the pop up shows.

Yours arrived in that space between finishing off in England and traveling to America for my annual family meet up.  I couldn't fit scanning and posting in before I left so I carried it with me, not even sure if it would take me over the limit at the airport scales!

I post everything I receive at one of my two blogs and when I have time I link them here and put up photos, but you can imagine how life can take over. .. days are pretty crowded!

I will send you something back sometime.  I copied down addresses of some of the new people I've received from before I left - not everyone is on IUOMA  and when something I make feels like it belongs in their mailbox, they'll get something. I have my regulars, like everyone!

   Hola como estan ? . Les envío la convocatoria de Miradas y Postales para presentarse en el IV Encuentro de Artistas por la No violencia hacia las Mujeres en noviembre de este año en la ciudad de Bahía Blanca-Argentina  ,por si estan interesad@s , este proyecto en particular  va a trabajar el tema de la trata de mujeres ,concientizar a traves del Arte , el envío es solo por correo postal ,este proyecto se va a mostrar en varios países sea por medio de proyecciones de videos,diapositivas, como por envío postal para muestras en galerías,museos espacios públicos y/o salones  ,la idea es crear una red de información a través del arte .
El proyecto anterior de Miradas y Postales -Por la No violencia hacia las Mujeres -recibío una convocatoria de 152 personas de 25 países y un total de 256 postales artísticas.
