Really moving - that DK & KDJ could bury the hatchet in these threads - finding strength of character in the face of thoughtless gossp & absurd rumors.

 

I'm glad you like Erni. I do the cards as opportunities present themselves, although DK was #1. We have to identify 15 more All-Stars, shouldn't be hard. I include them with all the various Trashpo & D-Kits that go out. People are receiving them & building collections. I will send you a D-Kit. I have a very few portable Trashpo shrines left.

 

The card says "9th Consciousness" label is hard to read in the scan. As for the background, it's not perfectly matched to you, well it is visually. Images come from an edition of "Ramayana" that I rescued from the landfill - very, very colorful Indian artwork that I thought was classical plates but then realizedit  is contemporary rendering - like some very meticulously made comic book so it provides collage material. I think it helps with a DharmaDaDa visual.

The DKult hate speech has definately left a scar to keep KDJ's head injury company. But as she says, you know you're legit when you have haters. Dkult is here to stay though. As long as there is trash, DKult will triumph. Congrats on winning the jello award KDJ. You won it fair and square. I never liked lime. Bodacious Bob said he would love to sponsor the FanZine one month as long as he can advertise his Fri night JelloFest and Dwarf Bowling. KDJ self-'demoted' to CEO instead of CFO. She admitted to being bad at math as her abacus was an accurate, yet slow method. The electric got cut off one too many times and she just didn't want that on her wounded head anymore. But scandal is good for PR so maybe we should start another rumor. any ideas?

Damn KDJ, and I thought the Rolling Stones set the record for showing up late... I'm sure I speak for many others when I write: We're just glad you are OK.

 

Your comments stand, uncontested and without comment (more or less). I consider them as an addition to the zine. Investigative mail-art is tough and one is never able to reconstruct what happened from all perspectives. I am glad we have yours.

 

Aside from Tat-Mania, the big Dkult shake-ups involving you and Dean Marks sparked the rumor mill. I know one could, if really interested, return to the buried comment threads where DK made her announcements and Dean had his meltdown. I imagine you and DK have a good chuckle about it all at the Elgin mansion or poolside at the posh resort in Florida.

 

Even our capable staff of researchers & fact checkers at the fanzine miss things.

 

So, anyway, thank you for your comments & all you do for Trashpo. 

 

I'm off now to the airport to meet a mysterious character flying up from Mexico who claims he has never-before-seen documents concerning the Dkult. I have to follow all the leads and often find myself in a maze of intrigue and deception. But I do it because I think a watchdog is needed to make sure Trashpoets everywhere know the truth.

Funny-yes, it's a very commanding language. Her kids know when the German flows, they have pushed it too far. She's a much more strict parent than we are. She was telling the story how she went swimming when she first moved here and getting out of the water changed right out in the open. some guy walked past and said, "You must be European. We don't do that here."  I could see you basking in an opium den Erni-it just makes sense-I was never into drugs, but I did love smoking clove cigarettes. I was asked once in a restaurant not to smoke them as 'it was interfering with the cooking' which i highly doubted but still stopped.

It is isn't it Erni!? She made the attitude girl stamp which is so impressive. Wanted to tell you something funny.. My friend is German and the girls pllay with her kids and they have a super sweet dog. My daughter said about the dog "I like his accent".  She hilarious because when she's mad at her kids she speaks in hurried German and yet they don't understand a word of it. I asked her son "Do you understand what she's saying?" He said not a word but she thinks we do
