The first 'Pynchon In Public Day' is planned for 8th May 2011. All ideas are welcome. If you do not know of Pynchon, I suggest reading 'The Crying of Lot 49'. A key part of the plot is W.A.S.T.E., an underground mail network, complete with its own mail boxes, stamps and a sub-culture of those who avoid the 'official' postal service. I am notoriously bad at scanning & posting the mail-art I recieve. This piece came a few weeks ago from Michalis Kotsaris in Greece. How this was done is beyond me, but I have spent many cups of coffee staring at it. Thank you Michalis! -AWJ-
