IUOMA Cat DayThe Second flood has arrived - cards from Lilac Girl, Lisa, Bifidus Val and Katerina

Mail Art received 24th November 2010
The trickle became a flood with all the cat cards jostling for space in the post box - the catnip made them settle down of course!
The first I opened was from Lilac Girl - a great first tactile card swop - this cat looks as grumpy as Jelly Bean! I hope there will be more!!

Then from Lisa at Skybridge Studios (wanted to tell you I love that studio name by the way!) her calming cat card with a great note in which she added - she is looking forward to a full view of the Red Giant along with the fact her ordered rooibos - translated RED bush - tea had arrived - I hope you enjoy every cup Lisa!

Then the stretchy pants card from Bifidus - MAN thats a hoot - who ever thought the sarcofogus would wear stretchy pants! If that chess board on the front is about a game - its your move Bifidus.

From Mom Katerina in Greece - thank you for the message - Have a Hpyy Cat Day today and every day - I do my best - your postcards and little notes all over IUOMA help - thanks Kat!

And last but not least the envelope from Val who is on holiday I think - or about to be? I see you are advertsing well in advance for your next exhibition Val - good for you - Let me answer your questions about cats
1 - They're contrarty by nature
2 - Only 'he's' let cats out of bags because women keep secrets in bags better
3 - A cat signals traffic with its ears but the signals are unfortuanely too subtil
4 - Cats fight? They just sing with their claws
5 - Cats hiss because they can - sometimes I wish I could.
Thanks Val!

THANK YOU!! At last the cards are starting to arrive from Cat Day - Yay! Please note! The titles given to the cards are my own and may not necessarily be the views of the artists concerned.... Firstly, from T Ra Raden, France - Cat Card 3. - Shadows on the Beach Made by Cats Are Solid. GREAT card thanks.

From Kemal Ozyurt, Turkey: "When All else Fails What If I Turn Blue?. THANK YOU!

From Angie and Snooky: Tonk a Tonkinese Today its Transforming! The note on Angie's card says that these cats are "self assured, but their humerous antics make you forget who's running the show" hmmm, I'm NEVER allowed to forget - thanks Angie - GREAT card!!

Thanks also for putting your cards in envelopes - there are things with large teeth on the airplanes that bring stuff to S.A. and then herds of wilderbees run over the mail, then it gets rained on, and then finally it gets to the post box - see my problem??!
