I have received this wonderful piece by Nancy a few weeks back. Life hasn't been a long quiet river for her recently, and I know that this work was her first attempt at getting back to art, at finding her feet in the studio again, so I'm really touched and honored that she thought about me.
Nancy is making great use of what I call her "islands", and to me…

Frieder sent me this wonderful art. A few weeks ago I've sent him an old photo with the question, "where are the promises that were written on my forehead during my early years" (Sorry, that sentence sounds really poetic in German, "Wo bleiben die Versprechungen meiner frühen Jahre, die einst auf meiner Stirn geschrieben waren", it's my bad translation.). Now,…

Yes, a B side of Erni ready for the battle of the Bar codes. What I really like the most about this piece is that the support is made from beer packaging with an original bar code. A sign of the times for his Fan Club. Thank you for the support you have given me.…

When I lived in Germany, Frau Weleda was my landlady and would give me brandy & coke every month when I came to pay my rent. Little did I know at the time that later in life, I would be recieving Mail Art from her Grandson or that George Clooney would be runing for president of the Erni Fan club. Amazing how life gives us so many wonderful things. Thank you very much Erni for this piece, but wait! There's a B side as well…

So I made a deal with Bear trading mail-a-day-for-a-week for an original stamp carved and designed by him to be some kind of representation of me...he couldn't have done any better! My family is hysterical because I am notorious for never posting pictures of myself and always trying to stay out of photographs...in a million years I would have never had a stamp made in my likeness but I LOVE it and will proudly stamp it onto things I mail out into the world. An amazing likeness I might add…

Behold the latest hoard of magnificence!
From Angie, a sympathetic bow to the season:
Fortunately, Angie, the snow level has abated. Still cold, but sunny--you can see the Olympic Mountains across from Elliott Bay today:
From…

Received the most GIGANTIC SUperSized Piece from Thom Courcelle(who Beez smart). This came all folded up, looked innocent enough, yet I unfolded it, and unfolded it, until I was looking at a handwritten letter written on 32" X 27" paper (the ruled kind they use in schools). Just amazing and although his spelling was a bit off at times, he made up for it with his fantastic…

I sent my vispo pages to Kat with all the beautiful conglomeration of stamps she had sent me in past mailings on the front. The paint is pieces of her old artwork sent to me, so she furthered the trashpo recycling process by sending me those bits back along with altered parts of MY envelope to her. Okay, now I'm totally confused, but I love what you've done Kat and thanks for…
