Hi friends, somebody wants to buy my art work via my artists site, but I happened to see she was telling her representative that she had a rumor from her colleague in Japan who noted works had a radiation. So I found the site to explain to the site representative and to her to tell her the…

Asemic mail art has blossomed spectacularly here at IUOMA since the Asemic group came into being earlier this year. Eduardo's work is a worldscape of its own--I feel as if I've been given an ethereal map with instructions on how to get to heaven or something. The…

My good friend out in California surprised me with a St Patrick's Day card. With so many life things going on, I'd forgotten the day was coming up. I looked at the calender and saw I had some time to send her something. So I made her a postcard. After all, she is Irish.
There is one 4 leaf clover in the bunch. Re-purposed cereal box. The yellow circles represent good…

I finally was able to get a set of cards done and here they are. I really liked doing mixed media but am ready to try something else. A fabric card or painting. Cut paper maybe. Too many ideas and not enough time. Oh well, I shall move along, keep going and see what happens. I do like the idea of using up some of my art supplies that have been sitting around. Now I can plan a road trip to get more.…

Umbrellas are of course waterproof items used to protect our heads from bad weather. Jon's mail art, created with the tape and peel technique, is covered in waterproof shipping tape, protecting all the other collage elements beneath. And then there's the postage stamps of Susan B. Anthony and Abraham Lincoln--two American figures who risked it all to protect people's rights.…
