I am posting this from my lap top. But the lap top is not connected to my scanner, so it is just a hassel to scann tags into the desk top then try and get them on the lap top to…

Mail-art by IUOMA member Katerina Nikoltsou (Thessaloniki, Greece)
February 26, 2011 - Katerina Nikoltsou sent a gorgeous piece that could be a contender for the first sandpo mail-art book, when taken as a stand-alone. I've…

How amazing is the work of Karen! And each piece is unique and more dynamic than the earlier ones received.
These two are "companion" pieces, as it is "my man with the blue beret" and his "house". Asemic writings are
stamped throughout and haptic textures abound!…

An amazing little boekie from Lesley with her recycled drawings that spread to both
the front and back cover, revealing a man of strong character and stance.
I was captivated by the expressive line and tone design of the details of the…

This golden lion with snakes coming forth is a four-part folded image of the new boekie that
arrived yesterday from Cheryl, filled with the aroma of oil paint and turps. A most unusual
folded booklet, it opens simply and intriguingly develops into an entire…

Bain de couleurs with this mail from Viviana Cernjul. This is the work of a meticulous little mail art ant, all the lines of the envelope are cut out and glued on, and some of the circle inside the square are too, if not filled with felt-tip pen. A lot of work!
Thank you Viviana!…

Mail Art Received last week of February 2011.
What an excellent way to end the last week of February - an asemic tablet from Karen :-) the fraternization of letters and symbols and asemic writing to create a palimpsest of complexity.
Thank you Karen - you now have your own red box with white spots :-)
Mail art received second week January…
