from Nadine Wendell-Mojica

Along with a good and adorned letter, Nadine included this:

A postcard from 1980, published by the Foundation for the Arts in Iowa.  There is no way Nadine could have known this, but I, although a very bad housekeeper, have a thing for laundry on the line.  One of my all-time favorite watercolor paintings is of laundry blowing in the wind, by Sargent, which I saw at the…

Theresa Williams knocks my socks off with Rilke and more

Folding card, opened, back and front:

O'Keeffe combined with Rilke -- who could ask for more.  It's a gorgeous card, and even includes the asemics on the back.  I love the slice of Rilke on the front, so that his eyes, which were so very far-seeing, stand out as if they existed on their own.  Inside is more Rilke, including his vivid relationship with both the…

Fascinating book From Vaida

This book is so beautiful, I have no idea how Vaida makes these thread spirals. The book has no distinct up or down and there are so many different though lines to discover throughout. The theme seems to play on the window/portals she has created and deals with a… Continue
