"I sent him a postcard and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim, I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much that he ate it.”
— Maurice Sendak
Paper, postage stamps, calligraphy, wax seals, inks, ephemera, maps, storytelling, art materials, and little illustrations in the margins...I love them so much that I could eat them.

Home is a houseboat in a pea-soup mangrove creek in Darwin. Dolphins cruise the 'street'. Crocodiles prowl the backyard. Just another day in Australia's Northern Territory. I never learned to drive a car but I can row a skiff like a crusty ol' pirate boss.

I loved the envelope so much, especially the fantastic Adanaland stamps, so good! And the little cat envelope inside is purrrrfect...I've been found out, I'm really a cat who makes mail art when the humans are away...
Richard, I use a similar font (Willow, I think from the Glasgow School?...) so I send you back my version. :) and a smattering of my artistamps. Check your mailbox in...3 weeks? ha ha ha
