Some mail artists add a stamp print to their mail art, saying 'Hannah Hoch Fan Club'.
Until I received these stamp prints I never had heard of this artist, who was born 1st of November 1889. She has been a collage / photomontage pioneer. She was part of the Dada movement and also became involved in the De Stijl art movement.
For anyone who has a Hannah Höch Fan Club Stamp (and interested others, I haven't one), this group can be the place to share your thoughts and mail art, tributing to and/or inspired by Hannah Höch.

Another marvellous box! I am feeling most inadequate but never mind; I have plans afoot!
The new box I found tonight is nearly square - 9 inches x 10 inches - and 2 inches deep so lots of space and everything looks much better within the new proportions. The outside is a flat black but with a bit of effort I should be able to make it a little less than a funeral!
I agree with Mary Anne. Bibiana’s box is truly a work of art. I am loving all these gifts of creativity. Since I posted the content of my box, I have received a few more beauties from Judi and a bonus gift from Mary Anne because she thought the first gift was lost. Lucky me!
A lovely altered postcard from Judi.
A love letter from Kurt to Hannah from Mary Anne:
Here is the box I made from the box which was used to ship me a used copy of “cut with the kitchen knife”:
Well, I was feeling quite pleased with myself, having found a much better box for my birthday stuff, but now I see the photos of Bibiana's wonderful creation. I am very envious of it but glad to think one of my pieces maybe inside it. If we were giving out prizes I would vote for her . . . so far. Who knows there may be more wonders to come.
I must go back to my feeble effort and DO BETTER . . .
That's a wonderful H.H. stamp & fact sheet! Also, I was debating sending one of my HH packets to myself to get a postmark on it, but now that W.M. is returning mine I'll get my wish without the effort. It's almost like a performance piece - using someone else to send your own mail art to yourself, only without the surprise when you open it! And of course, the surprise is more than half the fun.
The Hannah stamp was sent from Heleen with an info sheet, too,
see the 2015 blog:
Hello birthday party! Thanks so much to all whose cards and other things I have received. Thanks Bibiana for Hannah with her birthday cake!! I love it, it fits wonderfully. My box is still in working process, I will add a photo when it is finished! Happy birthday to everyone!
