The Face is active again. I thought I had thrown it away but I found it lurking  in the same corner. You may be right, it can be a benevolent diety manifesting her powers of recycling constantly.

To think that in years to come there will be pilgrimages to my studio corner!

May the Trash be with you.

Divinely inspired trashpo? Dean calls found objects mail art omens, so that implies some kind of trashpo dieties are engaged in the seemingly random swirl of garbage we encounter. Trashface appears benevolent, so I think our recycling methods are looked upon favorably. I like how ypy 'quarantined' it. Saw a guy yesterday using hand sanitizer on his rubber gloved hands. He would NOT be a good candidate for Dkult.

Love the self-assembled trashpo face! Maybe it houses a spirit now. ;-)

Once I did find a Valentine card, addressed to a female name. No signature. Near the Post Office. No envelope. Did she open it and then dropped it? Was it going to be posted? Ah the course of true love does not run smoothly. Who said that? Shakespeare probably, that kid deemd to ahve said alot of on everythong.

I need to explain about the Face of Trashpo, which I found during lockdown near home. It is formed by ejected packaging. Good find the word ejected. I took the three pieces that form the face in, thew them on a corner and washed my hnds. The virus dies in two days on absorbent surfaces like paper. I meant to 'do something' with the paper after its quarantine. Weeks later I saw it as you see it now.

I did not have anything to do with it, it self -assembled. I only took the photo.

Second hand trashpo counts..maybe even more so. I havent found many love notes, but Nadine found one and sent it to me from LA.

all's fair in love and trashpo

. . . and then there's posting that you collect (among many other things) ephemera and cite shopping lists.  The other day, someone sent me two of the oddest found inscribed pieces of crumpled paper someone thought they'd "thrown away" but neglected to find a proper bin in which to make the deposit.

Hi Diane, I didn't write the text so I don't know about unearned intimacy. Not sure what that means, but finding trash could go either way. If someone loses a love letter--drops it on the ground--and someone else find it, it does seem an unintentional sharing. Or a subconscious will to share? I didn't do all I could do to earn the trash I used in my vispo, as a friend of mine picked it up and mailed it to me.

Excellent Jeff-ejecta is a very Post Modern Trashpoetic term I never would have thought of. I do question, though, if it is an unearned intimacy as was mentikned. If aomeone decides to litter, leave behind a shopping liat, etc., aren't they in some unconscious way inviting others in?
