I work on many pieces simultaneously - not just mail art: paper, mixed media, collage, panels- and I had run out of space to place incomplete work as it dries. So I built a storage rack with many shelves, shown here in the back corner. Now my…Continue

vizma, jesu christe. lizards have a sweet side but snakes, yikes. Please tell more of this story. where were you and how did you get it out? Did Guido hop over and give you a hand? Did you jump up on your art desk? Did you see it from the corner of your eye come in or was it hiding beneath art debris?

A scorpion and many mice appeared in my dreams last night.

This picture shows a portion of the dinning room that has become a sewing room! I enjoy working on fiber arts and clothing as well as my collage and book arts, so it is nice to have spaces for both arts.

Hi, I am enjoying all the pictures of art spaces. I finally photographed my collage art table. Light is not the best. Most of us have lots of papers and glues to work with as that is what we need for collage!

I also have another room that is used more for sewing and will add a picture from that room also.

We sure are lucky Chris, it's been so nice in my studio that a brown snake came in!! Yes people, the ones that kill you with a bite! Well, that finally made me decide to carefully clean up all the stuff on the floor. I like to have the door open to let fresh air come in, but I think I'll be getting a screen door after that incident.

Here's a harmless guest that wandered in last week...

Just a blue-tongue lizard!

PS - "HerShed' was flooded last year but was only my laundry then - a nephew from Sydney did all the wonderful work to turn it into my space. Will post more photos of inside later.

Vizma - this is so great - being able to see where others work! Dame Mailarta - all I could say when I saw your photos was "WOW!"  Amazing.  Katerina - love your outdoors - we are so lucky here in Australia too - we can be outdoors most of the time, certainly in Queensland & most of the time in South Australia, hey Vizma. Looking forward to seeing more & more.
