Made a cheat's stamp from the sole of my shoe. A dog farting a musical note, unfortunately the note gets stamped backwards. Just wanted to share the idea,  check your soles for easy ready made stamps!!!

Hi all,

I received a call for e-mail art, which I like to share with you all!

The theme of the new Arnolfini Mini[e]MailArt Project, No 19, is: Rubber Stamps (also called Pecsétek, as the project origines in Hungary).

Hopefully we'll all meet there, soon, too :-)

To me it seems a big challenge: how to put something so tangible into digital mail?! (I'm not only thinking of a stamp print, but also about the texture real stamp prints have, and the stamps themselves, of course :-) But we'll manage anyhow, I'm sure :-)

@ Vizma and Angie & Snooky: Enjoy!  I'm looking forward to seeing your creations! Alas I was too busy to get (er, make) time to carve so far... I'm much behind in sending 'regular' mail art in return to several people who have sent me mail art, first have to finish that... Well, 'regular' mail art in my case means drawn and painted mail art, one by one - while stamping of course works faster :-)

Gertie Jaquet also organizes stamp carving workshops, and I discovered this photo album in which you can see pictures of past and recent workshops.

Great to see people creating this way! Also the results are pictured, and nice: stamps carved by both the teacher and of the 'pupils' :-)
