Even though it makes sense that we can look on each others profiles, you may want to add your address here and any blogs or other accounts you want highlighted. This way it's in a closed environment and we all get to share.

What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Oh, yeah!  And I remembered that I have four Halloween pieces taped to the door, where I took them to facilitate photographing because they have fat dangly bits that won't scan well.  I'm having a very fine time, indeed.  I'd been missing the routine of making and mailing.

Thanks, Katerina!  I'd put the name into the search engine without success; so I'm grateful for the help.  Today I not only put more art in the mail but posted on my blog some fabulous mail received over the summer, specifically from (not all are in this group) Eni Ilis, Pamela Gerard, Lindall, Richard Canard, Sharon Zimmer, Laura Podob, Pretty Lily, Julie Bynum, and Carla Cryptic.  Aiming to get more posted tomorrow.

Everyone at their own pace...enjoy and no stressing.

We are all "makers", we are all "winners"!

Turns out I can post online or I can get caught up on mailart.  Pretty things going in mail today.  Now I only have to do a bit more than 3 a day to reach December 1.  And any day now I'll be posting the delicious mailart received in the last few months from y'all.  xxxooo Boo

P. S.  Does anybody have an address for Lindall?

Hey Katerina.....You were right,  Already it's like Christmas around here.  I just raided my living room for a feather and I am on my way downstairs NOW,  to rescue tulle that made the cut last night.  Why???  Because I need that stuff!   This stuff is all in my give away piles.  HAVE to get that stuff out of the house!  My storage locker is already 1/4 full of items I am keeping.

Heading out to the PO and a bunch of appointments - then taking the afternoon off today and making mail art!

'Liking your mail art, Positively Postal, Scott! "The Fastest Man on Two Legs" is running =the-race...if you do 4  per day, you will cross the finish line: 365, on Dec.1!!! I also liked your carrier pigeon card, we have pigeons (doves) for the mail in Greece ;-)

Wow I can't believe it Katerina! Of all the scraps of paper I pulled out of the newspaper to collage I pull out one with your name on it! It's gotta be a sign

Andy! Great watercolors...and "Dreaming of Istanbul" has my name on it, yes? The clipping from the Turkish newspaper has the town: Arnavutköy (real estate news). That is the TOWN I lived in for 2 years when I was an art teacher at the American College there! Oh, that is a fun mail art piece...lots of good memories and dreams!
