What's your default? 7 Replies

Because my friend Matt asked me this the other night, I had to think about it. His is painting a blue sky and some clouds, then he waits to see if anything more comes. His skull for Skull Appreciation Day was just the blue sky & clouds cause…Continue

Who will you send  your first piece of mail to? I've been thinking about this a lot. Will it be someone in this group? Will it be one of the many mail artists I've exchanged MA with over the years? Will it be one of my letter writing friends, or my…Continue

Significant dates for the diary (some might say...) 41 Replies

McFloozy mentioned Quack Day in February and I had a message from Valentine Mark Hermann telling me of an anniversary in February. I figured that it would be best to put all the dates in one discussion, so anyone could contribute and we could all…Continue

Wow! That is a huge improvement Katerina! We've just moved into our new place so will be feverishly working away on the place ourselves. You'll probably get to see it soon too

Wow - Katerina and Pos, your remembrances are touching.  It's quiet here today in my little corner of the world, and I hope it stays that way in every little and big corner, please, please, please.

Dewi and Creator-of-Pumpkin-Possibilities (is that you, chaosatlanta?) your pieces are lovely and fun!  That's a good thing too, for today, I think:  to honor those who never guessed that 9/11/01 would be their last day on earth - celebrate life while we have it, keeping their memories in our hearts!

I am spending the day feverishly catching up on mail-art!  Thank you very much for the reminder of this anniversary.

9/11 A time to Remember

I come into the city to open the door to the apartment and allow the workers in. Then we do a "what will be done today" discussion, and I am off to the seaside shack...where there is water and a toilet ;-0

Bathtub in place and white tiles up on walls...now for the floor?

Thanks, JJ for the great card!  I will speak no evil Mailart is starting to roll out of here again.  Made a bunch and my scanner died after I scanned 4 of them.  I'm sure my husband can fix it.  Also I wasn't used to the new improvements for the blog and that confused me.  I'm just not too tech savy.  So I hope to catch up in a couple of weeks!  Keep your eyes on the mail.  I think I owe most of you!!!!  And some 2x over.  :-)

Wow, Katerina, that's going to feel so good when it's over! Promise you'll send us pics of the finished piece or else I will always imagine you in that bathroom. Good luck.

Hmmmm, I could do a mail art REAL WALL all along the bathtub side and sink side, eh? Though it is a bit damp and then the bugs will start to crawl in through the bricks...and maybe EAT the mail art? AACK! Best get the tiles put up.sigh.

The contractor, on Monday, PROMISED it will be completed "in 5 days"...I'm giving them until Saturday...we shall see!

Gee whiz, Katerina!  How long is it going to take to revamp?  Do you plan on taking refuge at the beach house?
