The story of a young woman in Kenya, beer, keys and the perils of Africa, Rebecca Guyver

An accordion boekie with wonderful memories and matching instructions: Another Kind of DRUNKPO, by Rebecca.

Everything put together in a man's pocket shirt.

Some selected pages from the boekie and the adventure in Kenya!

when the baridi beer ran out

I rotated 180 degrees

into the house of the Dutch headmaster

We assembled a living room tent

would eat humble pie,

and kick off our red shoes,

of the Kerio Valley,

reach down, take a key in Africa

Fabulous work, presented very beautifully and in a romantic way. Melts my heart.

Thank you so much Rebecca!

Rebecca is definitely a contender among the Drinkpo All Stars. Remember Bukowski's advice & Philosophy: Don't Try." (RIP Buk)

This IS a beautiful blog!

Did you make the Naf Liam stamp Rebecca!? I take it you married Patrick? Whatever happened to poor Mike?

Oh Carina, so beautifully blogged.  You got the only Painted background version. I think I forgot to finish certain things in 5/6 and 6/6 but that's indicative of my careless nature, not any slight to the people I sent the final versions to...  Perfect that you blogged it today too. The protagonists have just eaten the first meal we ate together after the key incident (20+ years later) again. A happy valentine.
